Bumpa is a nickname for Grandpa in the Northeast. My biggest role model was my Bumpa so when I was blessed with Grandchildren, there was no debating what my title was going to be. I have some big shoes to fill but love the opportunity.
Difference Between Butcher Block End Grain and Edge Grain
Edge grain is the “side” of the board. It’s usually the side that woodworkers measure the “thickness” of a board. End grain is the end of the board. end grain butcher block is the most durable, almost self-healing, and easier on your knives. End grain is usually a butcher block style board and is a little thicker, longer board and usually has a higher price tag.
