Upcycled billboard bags are made from repurposed Home Show billboards, turning vinyl waste into one-of-a-kind bags that are as stylish as they are sustainable. Watch local seamstress, Dawn, work her magic live, daily from 11 am to 2 pm, turning billboards into bags right before your eyes at the May Home & Flower Show. This exciting initiative recently earned an award from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality for its commitment to sustainability — Original Flower Show billboard designs are now available at the May Show! Prepare to be amazed as Magic by CJ takes the stage at the Maricopa County Home Shows! Get ready for a dazzling performance filled with mind-blowing floral magic tricks. Watch in awe as CJ uses vibrant flowers to create moments of wonder and enchantment. With a flick of his wrist, he’ll show you that flowers aren’t just for decoration—they’re an essential part of the magic! 1:30pm - Battle of Bouquets Live! "Chopped" Style
Get ready for an exhilarating floral competition at the Maricopa County Home Show! Watch as three talented florists go head-to-head in Battle of Bouquets Live! In this thrilling two-round challenge, each florist will receive a mystery box filled with a surprise selection of floral materials. The twist? They’ll need to think quickly, adapt creatively, and craft a stunning bouquet under pressure—all while the clock is ticking! After each round, the florists will face elimination, with only the best designs advancing to the next stage. Who will rise to the challenge and claim victory? Join us for the excitement and see who will earn the title of floral design champion! (One stage show per day). Located at the Main Stage in the SE Corner of the South Hall.
3pm - Live Glass Blowing
Live glass blowing by local Glassmith Noah Wilsey; Using his portable and miniature glassblowing studio on wheels, Noah will sculpt and manipulate molten glass into flowers or cacti LIVE. Noah is a glass artist of sculpted and blown glass with 20+ years of experience in the trade; As a master of his craft, Noah creates eccentric, traditional, artistic, and one-of-a-kind décor for indoor and outdoor use; Noah is versatile in large décor, small décor and custom designs and will feature several of his designs, available for sale, exclusively at the Home & Flower Show.
3:30pm - Houseplant Repotting Tutorial
Enjoy live demonstrations and watch as multiple plants are repotted daily, giving you hands-on insights you can take home. Plus, there’ll be plenty of time for Q&A to answer all your plant care questions! Hosted by the plant experts at Unity Indoor Plant Services. ***FREE BONUS*** Guests may bring one plant in its original container and a new vessel and repot it onsite with the help of our repotting masters.
